My sister Liz and I went to my favorite market and bought all the spices to make home made chai tea from the recipe I posted back in November. First we had to pulverize all the cardamon pods, cinnamon and grate the ginger.
Then we added the milk and sugar….and let it sit overnight. Yum. It was a little too spicy. Next time, we can’t microplane the ginger. Oddly enough, that made it a lot stronger. Next time, we’ll have to grate it.
Did I mention I was with the puppies? Jimmy and Tina weren’t available for comment.
